Randy serves Director of Entitlements and is a Partner. For over 25 years, Randy has represented many of the largest commercial, residential and industrial developers in Southwest Washington on a variety of land use and zoning matters. His work has included development and implementation of comprehensive project permitting strategies— bringing together and coordinating disciplines such as civil engineering, transportation engineering, wetlands biology, wildlife and habitat biology, geotechnical engineering, archeology and landscape architecture—to successfully achieve results within political and regulatory environments. Randy routinely negotiates with the staffs of cities and counties, State agencies such as the Department of Ecology, the Department of Fish and Wildlife, Department of Transportation and Federal agencies such as the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers and Federal Aviation Administration. Randy is also substantially involved in various legislative processes assisting in the creation and/or adoption of Comprehensive Plans and a variety of land use regulations in many jurisdictions. Over his career, Randy has appeared in hundreds of hearings before city councils, county commissioners, planning commissions, hearing examiners, the Growth Management Hearings Board, Superior Court, Washington Court of Appeals and the Washington State Supreme Court. Randy has served on a variety of community task forces and committees. Randy currently resides in Vancouver, WA with his wife Karen.
